The Left's Overzealous Certainty
On the left, there is a tendency to present scientific consensus as unequivocal truth, particularly in debates surrounding environmental issues and public health. Take, for instance, the ongoing discussions about climate change. While the overwhelming majority of scientists agree that human activity is contributing to global warming, some voices within the environmental movement claim that the science is settled beyond any reasonable doubt.
