Outrage has transformed from a genuine expression of discontent into a product - one that is marketed, packaged, and sold to an audience eager to consume it. On the left, the outrage machine has been fueled by a desire to highlight social injustices and systemic inequalities. Activists rally behind causes that demand immediate attention, often resorting to hyperbole and sensationalism to drive their message home.
